One way of making the most of your stay in Mallorca is by practising a sport that takes advantage of the excellent road network available. Over the past few years, the island has become a popular destination for cycling holidays and also a number of professional clubs use the island for training in the winter months.

Mallorca has 1,250 kilometres of roads, of which 700 kilometres are designated to second-class roads that crisscross different areas of the island. There are a number of interesting excursions for cyclists and also most hotels offer special services that include areas for bikes to be stored, special picnic lunches and brunches, high energy drinks and detailed information on the best scenic routes.
